What’s your favorite part of your job?
Having a hand in the fabrication and overall look of our patients restorations.
What has been your most memorable moment as a dental assistant?
Since I’m fairly new to the office, I haven’t had the pleasure of making a lot of memories YET. But so far, getting to see the doctor do same day crowns is pretty awesome.
What made you want to become a dental assistant?
I had a very caring and fun dentist while I was a kid. He always used to let me watching while my parents got cleanings or work done. It sparked a fascination in me with the dental world, and I’ve loved it ever since.
In one sentence, convince us why we should brush and floss every day.
Plaque build up is actually tiny bacteria that is pooping on your teeth.
What is one thing your patients would be surprised to know about you?
I know how to weld.
Keeping your patient’s smiles healthy is the main focus of your job but what is one of your favorite guilty-pleasure-cavity-inducing snacks?
If you could have one superhero power, what would it be and why?
Telekinesis. That way I could have any super power I wanted with mind control.
